AEP Convert Social Responsibilities

As many others, we are well aware of the social context in which we operate.
We are passionate about what we do whilst at the same time attentive to our social responsibilities.

Getting involved and giving back to society are core principles for us.

AEP Convert commits 5% of its annual profits to charity.
Our partner charities are:

Kiva (www.kiva.org)

Friends of the Earth (www.foe.co.uk)

These charities focus on two areas close to the hearts of the AEP Convert team, development and the environment.

Kiva is a non-profit organisation providing micro-lending to entrepreneurs in the developing world. Its mission is “to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty”.
Based in San Francisco, Kiva is supported by donations from its users and through partnerships with businesses and other institutions.

Friends of the Earth is one of 70 national groups around the world which make up the Friends of the Earth network of environmental organisations.

FoE defines itself as a grassroots organisation, with over 200 local groups making it the largest environmental network in the UK. FoE local groups are largely autonomous, but most work on at least some national campaigns, especially Climate Change.

The Big Ask is one of the most successful recent FoE campaigns. The campaign was widely credited with forcing the government to include the Climate Change Bill in its legislative programme, set out in "the Queen's Speech".
